2008 MID-ATLANTIC TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES
July 5, 2008

GENERAL INFORMATION
FIRING WILL COMMENCE PROMPTLY AT 0800

RULES:  Current NRA rules will govern the conduct of the match.
COMPETITION: Open to teams only (4-man teams for NMC and 6-man teams for Infantry Trophy). No individual competition.
RIFLE: Service Rifle. CMP rules will govern. NRA Match Rifle Teams may enter subject to availability of open firing points.
CLASSIFICATION: NRA classification cards, or temporary score books are required.
CATEGORIES: There will be two categories--Service and Match Rifle.
SQUADDING: At Statistical Office commencing at 0700. Prepaid entries will be squadded first. Entries made by telephone cannot be guaranteed.
ENTRIES LIMITED: FIRST 12 PAID TEAMS.
DEPOSIT: $15.00 deposit received prior to the match will hold entry. Team Captains should call prior to match date to confirm receipt. Deposit may be forfeited if team fails to notify club of cancellation prior to match date.
CHECK-IN:  All team captains will be required to check-in by 0745. Squadding closes at 0750.  Those teams not checked in risk losing their place.
SIGHTERS: No sighters.
AWARDS:  Awards will be given in each category and class. Awards will be given to each multiple of 5 teams in each category. Teams may not win more than one award in each match. There will be no overall award--only category awards.

POST ENTRIES: Accepted until 0745 day of the match, up to range limit.
CONFIRMATION: Only if a stamped self-addressed postcard is enclosed with entry.
PRACTICE DATE: Day before scheduled match. Prior arrangements are required.
CAMPING SPACE: Available at the range. Electrical connection is available.
CHALLENGES: $2.00
 

4-MAN TEAM EVENT
NATIONAL MATCH COURSE

ENTRY FEE: $28 per team. Firing will commence promptly at 0800 hours.
ENTRIES LIMITED:  Entries limited to the first 12 paid teams
COURSE OF FIRE: National Match Course.
SR target at 200 yards. SR-3 target at 300 yards. MR-1 target at 600 yards.

  • Match #1:  200 yds 10 shots for record offhand. Pair firing required. 20 minutes/pair
  • Match#2:   200 yds Rapid fire. One 10-shot string from standing to sitting or kneeling 60 seconds per shooter
  • Match #3  300 yds  Rapid fire. One 10-shot string from standing to prone. 70 seconds per shooter
  • Match #4  600 yds 20 shots for record prone. Pair firing required. 40 minutes/pair
  • Match #5 Aggregate of Matches 1, 2, 3, & 4.

INFANTRY TROPHY TEAM EVENT
6-MAN TEAM

ENTRY FEE:  $30 per team. Firing will commence following the 4-man Team Event.
COURSE OF FIRE:  Infantry Trophy Match Course
RIFLE: Service Rifle per CMP Rules
AMMUNITION: Teams will supply their own ammunition. Total ammunition allowed is 384 rounds per team
E-Silhouette at 500 and 600 yds. F-Silhouette at 200 and 300 yds.
